EEMA Roundtable 2026

About EEMA

The European Evangelical Mission Association (EEMA) is a network that connects national mission movements and missionary alliances across Europe. Together, we long to see cross-cultural mission flourish – from Europe, to Europe, and within Europe.
We bring together leaders and networks who share an evangelical commitment and a passion for cross-cultural engagement – seeking to encourage one another, address shared challenges, and catalyze collaboration across the continent.

EEMA Roundtable

Across Europe, something is shifting. In how we lead, how we collaborate, and how we understand God’s mission in this time. In the midst of these changes, we sense a deeper invitation: not first to build strategies, but to come together – to listen, to pray, and to discern what God is doing. The EEMA Roundtable is born out of that longing.

Following the Hope for Europe Gathering, a small group of leaders from across Europe will gather for 24 hours. Not as representatives of organizations first, but as brothers and sisters drawn together around a shared desire: to seek God’s voice for the season ahead.

We believe that when people gather with open hearts and holy expectation, God meets us.
That He speaks.
That He aligns.
That He opens new paths we would not see on our own.

This is not just a conversation about the future of mission in Europe. It is a space to listen together – to discern where His Spirit is moving, and how we might join Him.

At the same time, we recognise that God often works through relationships. Through trust that is built, through stories that are shared, and through connections that grow deeper over time. That is why this gathering is intentionally small so there is space not only for insight, but for genuine encounter, to build new relationships, and to strengthen the ones already entrusted to us.

What this gathering offers

Participants can expect to leave not only with fresh insight, but with a renewed sense of perspective, encouragement, and connection. In a season where many leaders carry both opportunities and challenges, this roundtable offers a rare space to step back, listen alongside peers from across Europe, and be strengthened through shared wisdom, prayer, and mutual support. We hope that those who join will return to their contexts refreshed, with deeper relationships and a clearer sense of how they might participate in what God is doing across Europe.

What will we talk about?

During these two days, our desire is not to accomplish a fixed agenda, but to create space: to listen deeply, to pray, and to discern together what God is stirring among us. As we do, we trust that key themes will emerge around the future of mission in Europe and the role of EEMA.
The EEMA Roundtable will be a highly interactive and participatory space, with room for open conversation, shared learning, and spiritual reflection on:
• The changing landscape of mission in and from Europe
• Shared calling and momentum
• What role EEMA could play in this season
• Renewed relationships and collaboration across Europe and beyond
• Who is missing and which networks and leaders should be part of this journey

An intentional invitation

Because of the nature of this gathering, participation is by invitation. We are seeking to bring together a group of leaders who are actively engaged in cross-cultural mission and who carry both responsibility and influence within their networks.

At the same time, we want to remain open and attentive. If you are reading this and recognise a deep resonance with this moment and its purpose, we would welcome a conversation. Please reach out to Jiska Chin-A-Teh (jiska AT missienederland.nl) to explore whether there might be space to join.

We kindly ask that you connect with us before making any travel arrangements, so that we can discern together what is possible.
